Tertulia Spanish-language Camp

Upper West Side, various meeting points.
Spanish-language camp featuring fun trips, soccer, swimming, capoeira, and yoga and agility games—all en español. Taught by experienced teachers with college or master’s degrees. Past summers included: guacamole-making at Café Frida, a visit to a science lab and veterinary clinic, mini golf on Governor’s Island, baseball, the Bronx Zoo, New York Fire Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, the aquarium, and much more.
Previous Spanish-language experience strongly recommended.
Ages: Students entering K-5th grade.
$250 per week or $1150 for entire 5-week camp. Financial aid and sibling discounts available.
July 5 to August 5, 9 am to 3:30 pm with additional aftercare available for addtl. fee.

New Challenge Camps
(www.challengecamps.com) which has been operating for over 30 years, using the Holy Child school building in Rye, NY. This summer camp is specifically for children K and older who participate in G&T programs during the school years. Application to the summer camp requires certification from the child's school district that the child is gifted and/or talented. There are two sessions: 4-week June/July session and 3-week July/August session. There is also a bus service from Manhattan during the camp sessions. From Speyer, it is 20-25 minutes drive.
